Marching on the DNC, an Interview with Cheri Honkala

Listen to a recent interview with Cheri about the settlement of the ACLU’s lawsuit against the City of Philadelphia for initially denying a permit for the March for Our Lives and other rush-hour protests during the Democratic National Convention.

“It was a struggle but we were adamant and told the ACLU over and over again for 48 hours that we would not change our permit request, and we have won the right to march on the south side of city hall at 3 o’clock, going all the way up Broad Street to the front door of the Democratic National Convention.”

  1. I am looking forward to the 25th… This will be the “convention” I identify with most… impressed as always with the integrity and commitment of Cheri Honkala and the KWRU. Glad to be a part, no matter how small.
